I made this for my beloved therapist before she moved to a different state. I can find it difficult to be vulnerable with folks (art is a way for me to practice that), but she has had a long-lasting impact on my ability to do so more frequently. I'm deeply grateful to her, and the positivity of those feelings made this piece flow out of me, which is how I know when I've made something out of the ordinary.
